Notes on the scoring system: 

• Runners can score points on 5 out of the 8 races in the series; we will automatically take your best races if you run more than 5. 

• The scoring spreadsheet can be viewed HERE; please contact kkortz@gdtc.org with any changes or questions.  

• The points do not "add up" - the max points for a single race is 7, with a total of 35 points over the season. 

• There are not extra points for choosing the longer distance at a race that has options.  

• Age group finishes are by gender, as is the overall finish.  

• Age groups are determined by the race, so sometimes it will be 5Y groups, sometimes it might be 10Y.  

• All finishes are compared to the entire field, not just other GDTC runners.
