Scoring for Race Series
Notes on the scoring system:

Runners can score points on 5 out of the 8 races in the series; we will automatically take your best races if you run more than 5.

The scoring spreadsheet can be viewed HERE; please contact kkortz@gdtc.org with any changes or questions.

The points do not "add up" - the max points for a single race is 7, with a total of 35 points over the season.

There are not extra points for choosing the longer distance at a race that has options.

Age group finishes are by gender, as is the overall finish.

Age groups are determined by the race, so sometimes it will be 5Y groups, sometimes it might be 10Y.

All finishes are compared to the entire field, not just other GDTC runners.
