Kids Summer Fun Runs
At the Kid's Summer Fun Runs everyone is a winner! Led by GDTC members, kids of all ages stretch, learn, and run for fun. This weekly free program is co-sponsored by the Derry Recreation Department and is open to children from any town or city. Water, Gatorade, and watermelon are supplied each week and participants receive a commemorative t-shirt and medal upon program completion.
Details
When: Mondays June 24th to August 5th at 6:30 p.m.
Where: Londonderry Track High School
Who: All children ages 2 to 92
Cost: Free! Donation of a nonperishable food product weekly is all that is requested.
Swag: Water, Gatorade

Age Categories & Distances

2-3 years: 50 yards
-
4-6 years: 200 meters
-
7-8 years: 300 meters

9-10 years: 600 meters
-
11-13 years: XC mile
-
14+ years: Open mile
-
2-13 years: 100 yards for anyone unable to participate in stated distance for their age group
