Couch to 5k
The Couch to 5k Training Program is designed to help get absolutely anyone who has ever wanted to try running a 5k off the couch and on their feet! Training starts off slowly and progresses with the goal of running the annual Run for Freedom 5k on July 4th.

This free program meets in person twice a week and educates new runners on stretching, gear, techniques, and more in a welcoming and easy going environment. Many of our participants have become active runners - some going as far as marathons! Completion of this program earns participants a graduate t-shirt and an annual membership to GDTC.
