Thursday 2:20PM - We had a record breaking 1,306 people who completed the 36th Annual Turkey Trot.

GIVING BACK

All the profit from the race was donated to the following local food pantries: St. Jude, St. Thomas, Upper Room and Sonshine Kitchen.

Each one received a check for $1,250.00

ENTRY FEES

Food Donations - For ALL ENTRIES we request a donation of any non-perishable canned good or dry food item. All food donations go to food pantries in the greater Derry area to help the needy. If you forget your donation we ask for a small cash donation which will go to the food pantry

This year's we are offering a long sleeve, advertiser free, custom designed heavyweight cotton tshirt.

There will be plenty of post race food for you to enjoy while you socialize with your friends.

We'll have chili and home made soup to keep you warm as well as plenty of healthy and not so healthy treats.

Hydrate after the race with plenty of post race beverages along with Gatorade and water.

There will also be tunes while you relax.

 

Walkers are welcome to join us.

AWARDS

This year the award structure is a little different

Awards will go to the First Three Overall Male and Female finishers

Awards will go to the First Male and Female Finishers from Derry and Londonderry

Awards will be made at approximately 9:30 AM

Each finisher will receive a custom engraved medal signifying their accomplishment.

Also there will be a Great Poster board style raffle.

RESULTS

The race will be professionally chip timed by New England Timing using the Winning Time RFID Chip system. Donation

CAUTION: The timing chip is your responsibility and you will be charged if the chip is lost or not returned after the race. Follow the directions carefully on the packet in which you received the chip for use and the monitory fees you will be assessed should you not return the chip

The results will be posted on www.coolrunning.com after the race probably in the afternoon.

Errors in the results should be directed to the timing company www.ne-timing.com

Image Online registration IS NOW CLOSED. Race Day Registration is available at the race Site on Wednesday 25th from 3:00 to 8:00PM and on Thursday morning from 7:15 to 8:45AM

Packet pickup will be available on Wednesday before the race at Galliens town beach from 3:00PM to 8:00PM

Race day registration will also be available during the packet pickup hours and the Race Day Registration Pricing WILL APPLY to Wednesday registration. NO EXCEPTIONS!

It is highly recommended to come Wednesday afternoon to take advantage of this and avoid the Thursday morning crowds.

Certified course USATF #NH9306WN. The scenic course takes you clockwise around the residential roads of Beaver Lake, a highly sought after residential location in Derry. The course has several scenic vistas and has been really beautiful in the past with accompanied by a fresh layer of snow falling before or during the race. Directions DIRECTIONS
From Route 93, take Exit 4. Follow Route 102 East and proceed through Derry center to rotary. Follow Route 102 off rotary east approximately 1 mile to Galliens Beach and Beaver Lake on right. Parking permitted anywhere on North side of Route 102 or West side of Pond Road, bordering Beaver Lake. Please observe coned areas for no parking. Get directions using Google Maps

Cancellation CANCELLATION
If weather looks threatening call (603) 432-6409 on morning of race for a recorded message or check this web page to see if the event has been cancelled. If cancelled, there are no refunds and pick up of tshirts at a later date is responsibility of race entrant. Check on this web site if the race is cancelled for additional information.
