TURKEY TROT 5K - THANKSGIVING DAY

A record breaking-crowd showed up. 939 runners crossed the finish line in a sunny and crisp Thanksgiving morning.

Location: Galliens Town Beach on Beaver Lake Route 102 Derry, NH

Registration: 7:15 am to 8:50 am at Galliens Beach on day of race. Arrive early or pre-register to avoid the rush!

Directions: From Route 93, take Exit 4. Follow Route 102 East and proceed through Derry center to rotary. Follow Route 102 off rotary east approximately 1 mile to Galliens Beach and Beaver Lake on right. Parking permitted anywhere on North side of Route 102 or West side of Pond Road, bordering Beaver Lake.

Awards: First male & female overall, 1st place finishers in many age groups, and 1st male and female from Derry.

Post Race: Great refreshments and food provided. Great Raffle prior to awards (must be present to win).

Facilities: Limited changing facilities available and portable restrooms on site.

Course: Scenic (some say challenging) certified 5K course, USATF # NH9306WN, around Beaver Lake (see map on rear of application). 'Slight hill' at mile 1.5, all down hill from mile 2 to finish.
